The Penn State Alumni AssociationWhat’s been happening: I was commissioned in the Army the same day I graduated, and served at Forts Dix, Lewis, Benning, and Campbell. I also served overseas in Korea and Germany, with a few side trips to other interesting places. I was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division in 1989, and loved Clarksville, Tennessee, so much that I married a local girl and retired here. After retiring from active duty, I worked for a few years as a civilian deployment specialist, helping units in the Division deploy and redeploy to and from Iraq and Afghanistan. I have three children, two of which (Travis and Lauren) are in college at the local Austin Peay State University, and the third, Robb, in high school. GO PENN STATE! |
